Mubende District received 13b for roads in October, 2019. subsequently , the Mubende-Kakumiro-Kibaale-Kagadi road has been constructed and the local populations says it has benefited because their businesses have grown . “Trade within Mubende district has increased dueto the new good road, Mrs. Prossy Nansikombi Mulumba said in an interview .
The NRM government also launched a scheme to build low cost houses for teachers in UPE schools. It has funded the construction and rehabilitation of the teachers’ houses in various government aided schools. Mubende District was privileged to receive 7 teacher houses at Kyanamugera Primary School in Nyanzi.
There has also been provision of Cooperative micro finance schemes offering loans at low interest rates in Mubende District. Interventions to improve maternal health prepayment schemes have been launched in Mubende and have supported by additional aid from Population Services International.
