President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, National Resistance Movement (NRM) Presidential candidate has launched the party’s 2026–2031 manifesto with firm call for the supporters to “protect the gains registered over the years.
The launch took place at the Speke Resort Convention Centre in Munyonyo after the Electoral Commission (EC) cleared all the eight presidential canidates to kick-start the campaigns today .
Launched under the theme “Protecting the Gains,” Museveni reminded Ugandans that it is the NRM which has stabilised the country ,promoted economic growth , transformation and thus needs another kisanja to complete the job .
The manifesto highlights several interventions to push the country forward economically and promises the provision of empower funds to several groups including private security operators .
