The Minister for Lands and Housing Hon Judith Nabakooba and the Association of Real Estate Agents have hosted a diplomatic delegation from the International Real Estate Federation and the European Mortgage Federation to explore innovative financing mechanisms for Uganda’s rapidly growing young population.
The Association of Real Estate Agents Uganda is a professional umbrella organization representing real estate agents, managers, brokerage companies, consultants and other stakeholders in Uganda’s real estate sector.
It was established in 2008 and its objectives include enhancing professionalism in the real estate industry, providing capacity-building training for members through the affiliated Real Estate Institute of East Africa.
They also advocate for favorable policies, laws, taxes, financing, and investment frameworks by engaging government and private-sector stakeholders.
