GEN MUHOOZI KAINERUGABA MEETS KENYA’S PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA IN NAIVASHA

Uganda ‘s Commander of Land Forces who is also the Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations and first son – Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is in Kenya on the invitation of Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The two dignitaries have since visited the Naivasha Inland Container Depot (ICD) where Uganda’s imports and exports are cleared .
A tweet , Gen Kainerugaba thanked the Kenyan leader for the invitation to Kenya noting the strong bond between the two sister East Africa countries.
“I thank my great big brother, President Uhuru Kenyatta, for inviting me to my second home Kenya, to join him in the inauguration of the Inland Container Depot in Naivasha. A strong East Africa is the only way to go!” Gen Kainerugaba stated.
Gen Kainerugaba was visiting for the second time a space of two months and having been to Nairobi in September 2021.”I consider him my elder and an inspirational and great leader in Africa,” Gen Kainerugaba added .
President Kenyatta and Gen. Kainerugaba together with high-ranking Kenyan officials were shown the transshipment of container cargo from the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) to the Meter Gauge Railway (MGR) and took a train ride from Naivasha to Longonot .
