Maj.Gen Paul Lokech the new Deputy IGP has reported for duty . President Yoweri Museveni last week appointed Gen Lokech also popularly known as the “lion of Mogadishu” the new Deputy IGP replacing Maj. Gen Sabiiti Muzei in a mini security command reshuffle.
Gen . Museveni also re-appointed his son Lt. Gen .Muhoozi Kainerugaba the Commander of the elite UPDF unit -the SFC and Presidential Adviser on Security.
Maj Gen James Birungi who was the SFC commander was posted to South Sudan for special assignments.
