Cabinet has approved the Board of Directors for , Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) and Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) Board of Trustees chaired by retired Justice Steven BK Kavuma and Dr. Kasoma Pantelon Mikasa Banda, respectively .
Other members on the Board for UCAA include, Mr. Moses Paul Lubowa, Ms. Ethel Kamba, Dr. Alayo Ocero, Mr. Thomas James kiggundu, James Kubeketerya, Ms. Angela Kiryabwire and Mr. Zubairi Musoke formerly of the New Vision .
Members on the UWA Board of Trustees are ,Eng. Natoma Mbabazi, Harriet Nandutu, Mr. Kagumaho Kakuyo, Peter Ojede Francis, Dr. Akamkwasa Barirega, Dr. Anna rose ademun okurut , Ms. Annet ireeba Kobusingye and Ms. Jane Bagonza.
According to Cabinet statement the new 9th board of at UWA is expected to build on the progress made to fight human wildlife conflict, control proliferation of invasive species , combat poaching , illegal wild life trade –trafficking and promote eco-tourism product development .
