Gen Sabiiti Muzeyi Out Of Danger Following Masaka Road Crash-Family Sources
Gen Sabiiti Muzeyi, Former Deputy Inspector General of Police and current General Manager of Luwero Industries (a subsidiary of the National Enterprise Corporation), is out of danger and is steadily recovering after a serious road accident on Saturday evening.
The accident occurred along the Masaka Road as Gen Muzeyi travelled with his family from Kiruhura District. According to eyewitnesses, the Toyota Land Cruiser he was driving rammed into a Fuso truck, leaving the vehicle badly mangled on the driver’s side.
Gen Muzeyi and his wife were airlifted to Kampala aboard a UPDF helicopter and admitted to Nakasero Hospital.
“He has received treatment and is now out of danger. He is recovering steadily,” family and UPDF sources told this pubication. “The family members he was travelling with are all okay and bearing up well. Give thanks to God. This is a miracle,” the sources added /
Gen Muzeyi was returning with his family from the giveaway ceremony of President Yoweri Museveni’s granddaughter, Nsasiirwe Keinembabazi Karugire.
