CAA Security Officers Undertaking Training By UK Government

The Deputy Director General of Uganda Civil Aviation Authority, Ms. Olive Birungi Lumonya, has opened a week-long training facilitated by the UK government. The training will run from October 14-18, 2024 in Entebbe.

The workshop is aimed at enhancing the skills of aviation security officers and supervisors in implementing additional security measures to enhance capacity.
Lumonya encouraged participants to engage actively and apply the knowledge gained to implement appropriate preventive security measures in order to ensure that Uganda and the global civil aviation remain fully protected from acts of unlawful interference.
