Polls in the hotly contested Serere parliamentary by -elections have officially closed with the NRM flagbearer , Mr.Philip Oucor taking an early lead . Oucor earlier in the day cast his vote at Oburin primary school, Oburin village in Ocaapa Town Council.
Speaking to the media shortly after voting, Philip Oucor said he’s optimistic about giving the party and the people of Serere a massive victory .
The Electoral Commission Spokesman Paul Bukenya has that polling kits were dispatched to all the 138 polling stations in Serere County Constituency. Serere County has 74,394 registered voters.
